HISTORY: On July 9th, 2005 the first Boone Pride took place with over 150 people in attendance. It was a small turn out, but proved to be a hearty seed for the way we celebrate today. VJ, Dancing, a special performance, snacks, drinks, and door prizes made for a festive time. Local resource organizations also had materials on hand. NC Outings, producers of the event, made a donation of the event profit to High Country PFLAG.
